The Harvard University Origins of Life Initiative envisions the creation of an interdisciplinary center unlike any other in the world. It will study everything from planet formation and detection to the origin and early evolution of life. The center will also form a natural bridge between the physical and the life sciences and would become a focus for integrative undergraduate science education at Harvard.
