SUMMARY:Professor Roger Fu (EPS - Harvard) "Plate tectonics and dynamo action on the early Earth and Mars"
DESCRIPTION:
	Abstract:

Using high-resolution magnetometry, we show that mobile-lid plate tectonics on Earth had initiated by at least 3.5 Ga and that the Martian dynamo persisted longer than expected. These geophysical conditions likely enhanced the early habitability of these planets.
