Origins faculty members Andy Knoll and Jack Szostak receive honorary doctorates

Professor Jack Szostak Honorary Doctorate

On Saturday, September 23, 1017, Professor Jack Szostak received a honorary doctorate from the Faculty of Medicine, Université de Sherbrooke, in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. The degree was presented to Professor Szostak by the Dean of the Medical School, Dominique Dorion. Following the ceremony Professor Szostak gave a very brief speech to the students, encouraging them to be independent and to always question established wisdom and think for themselves.
